Wikang katutubo: Tungo sa isang Bansang Filipino

         We Filipinos celebrate our"Buwan ng Wika" every 8th month of the year. in this celebration shows  the worth of our culture in our language, we are celebrating our indigenous languages.

         Language is one of our daily routine that we need in our life. Language is very important to us and why? because if we don't have a language, how can we communicate to each other? We can't live without language. We can't work without communication, we can't eat, we die.

       Philippines have 130 languages and Iloko(language of ilokano) is one of the 8 major indigenous languages in the Philippines. this celebration aims to enlighten that our language Tagalog is very important to us. In this generation, a lot of youth are influenced by other country and some of them forgot our language and they are also learning their language because of their idol. I'm not saying that learning their dialects are not bad but they must also learn our language to give respect to our culture. We must be proud to our language and culture because this is where we belong and this is our identity that we are Filipinos.

       We must be proud to our culture as a sign of respect to our ancestors, we must kill this bad habits before it kills us to. We must appreciate the beauty of our language and show it to others how beautiful it is. I can shout to the world that I am proud to be a Filipino

REFLECTION

In this 1^st quarter, I’ve learned a lot of lessons that I really want to discover once in my lifetime. In blogging, I’ve learned to express my opinions about a one topic at a time. I can show my opinions or feelings in my heart that everyone cannot see it from me through blogging. I’ve learned also to improve my writing skills an can use it in my daily life.

In this blogging, I’ve challenge in my writing skills because this is one of my weaknesses in my life. The reason why I am challenged my writing skills because others might read my blogs and they can criticize me in their own. One of the problems I also encountered was lack of practice. Since I am so lazy about this things, I don’t have a time to practice myself in writing.

          In order to overcome this challenges, I have to practice myself in writing skills, I need to manage my time and use it in an important reason. I will become more confident in my ability.
